The Institute of Environmental Geosciences invites applications for a

PhD in Soil Chemistry/Biogeosciences

We are looking for candidates who are interested in biogeochemical cycling of carbon in soils and soil degradation. Aim of the three years SNF funded project is to delineate indicators for soil erosion in mineral grassland and forest soils of the Alps and drainage-induced carbon degradation in wetlands both qualitatively and quantitatively. Experience in interpretation of stable isotopes will be appreciated.
