Università Politecnica delle Marche published a Call for Admission to the 13th cycle - new series (XXVII) of the PhD Schools at the Faculties of Agriculture, Economics G. Fuà, Engineering, Medicine and Surgery, and Science for the three-year period 2012/2014.

The candidates who apply for admission to the PhD Schools must have a Laurea Specialistica (Specialistic Degree), Laurea Magistrale (Master Degree), a Degree pertaining to the old system or an equivalent title obtained at foreign Universities.

Italian and foreign citizens who have a title that hasn’t already been declared equivalent to a Laurea Specialistica/Magistrale or pertaining to the old system must explicitly ask for  evaluation of their title in the application by enclosing the necessary documents (see below).

By explicit request in the application, extra-communitarian citizens can also apply for admission to the PhD Schools for extra places without scholarship. In this case the admission is subject to the evaluation of the candidates’ curricula by the judging commission. The number of extra places cannot exceed half the number of available places, rounded to unity by defect.      
The candidates must fill in the applications according to the enclosed fac-simile (“Annex 1/B” – english version).

Applications must be sent on-line by filling in the Application Fac-simile (Annex 1/B – english version) within 02 p.m. on 30 September 2011. The proper procedure can be found at http://www.univpm.it/ (“Concorsi” - “Concorsi vari” - “Dottorato di ricerca 13° ciclo”).

When all the data have been entered the application must be registered by clicking on “SUBMIT”.

The candidates must print the application, sign it and hand it over or send it by post, together with the attachments, to the following address within the Call deadline (30 September 2011):
“Università Politecnica delle Marche – Ripartizione Dottorato di ricerca – Via Oberdan  n. 8 – 60121 Ancona – Italy”.
The candidates who don’t hand over or send the application will be excluded from the competition.

The candidates must enclose the following documents: 1) copy of an identity document, 2) curriculum vitae, 3) Annex 2/B (english version), 4) copy of academic titles.
For the PhD School of the Faculty of Economics “G. Fuà”, the candidates have to present, among valuable titles, a copy of their degree thesis.

Under each PhD School (see below) you will find the examinations timetable, reporting the place, date and time of the exams.

The results will be published online within 7 November 2011 at the following address: http://www.univpm.it/ (“Concorsi” - “Concorsi vari” - “Dottorato di ricerca 13° ciclo”).

The candidates, whose names appear on the lists, must hand over or send their request for enrolment, subject to their acceptance to the PhD School, within the dates that will be published together with the results. The candidates who don't submit request for enrolment will be excluded from the lists.
