Scholarships for Canadian Citizens Pursuing Studies/Research at the Master’s or PhD level in Subject Areas related to China 2012

Scholarship can be taken at:  China

Eligibility:
-must be Canadian citizens;
- must be faculty members at Canadian universities or students who have a bachelor’s degree or are enrolled in a graduate program;
- must be proficient in written and oral Chinese unless otherwise exempted by their host university in China;
-and must undertake studies in an approved subject area in a Chinese university.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: A number of short-term non-degree-seeking awards are offered under the Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program (CCSEP) to Canadian academics and students who wish to study and/or do research in subject areas related to China at participating Chinese institutions * that are open to Chinese Government Scholarship recipients. Scholarships are offered to Canadian citizens pursuing studies/research at the Master’s or PhD level in subject areas related to China. Scholarships available are for studies and research, for a combination of studies and language studies or for language studies only. Scholarships are also available to Canadian faculty members pursuing research in subject areas related to China.
