The Department of Computer Engineering of Chosun University has an opening for a full-time postdoctoral position. The position is funded for a period of one year. The department of computer engineering at the Chosun University is a dynamic group of researchers, consisting of 18 full-time faculty members and more than 50 postdoctoral researchers, PhD and MS students. It is international, with over ten nationalities in the group.

We seek skillful, hard working and highly motivated candidates with good credentials to join our dynamic international research teams as Post-doc. There is one vacancy in following areas::

Computer Vision (Multi-view Geometry)

1. Tasks

The research will focus on developing novel computer vision algorithms to automatically learn models of both indoors and outdoors environments, from uncalibrated stereo cameras or integral imaging systems. The goal is to acquire precise 3D information (Depth and Multi-view) of objects and remove many limitations by combining computer vision and optical integral imaging techniques.

2. Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated researcher, with a PhD in Computer Vision or a closely related area. Successful candidates should additionally:

Have a strong track record of successful research in Computer Vision

Have a good knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Matlab and C++

Have excellent oral and written communication skills

4. Appointment

This will be a full-time appointment. The appointment will be on a temporary basis for a period of one year. The salary is in accordance with the university regulations for academic personnel and will 2,500,000 won(KRW) per month before tax.
