France : Postdoctoral position in computational mass spectrometry

There is an immediate opening for a 2 1/2-year postdoctoral position in the Systems Biology Lab of the Pasteur Institute, located in Paris, France. The postdoc would work directly with Drs. Schwikowski and Vandenbogaert, and indirectly with academic and industry researchers in the European GlycoHIT project. The major goal of this ongoing project is automatic glycopeptide identification on a large scale from single and tandem mass spectrometry data.

Requirements: Excellent mathematical and algorithmic skills, interest and experience in some branch of bioinformatics. Experience with mass spec-based proteomics and/or glycomics would be a plus. French language skills are optional.
